Warwick Emergency Face Shield

The Warwick Emergency Face Shield was designed and manufactured by a team from the Engineering Build Space in the School of Engineering as rapid response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the lack of available PPE. Using cutting-edge 3D printing techniques developed at the University, the face shield can be manufactured in a matter of minutes, compared to other versions which can take a number of hours.

These shields have been designed and tested to conform to BS EN 166 2002 and EU Commission Recommendation (EU) 2020/403 for PPE.
