BEEA Nomination for Engineering Start-Up
We are delighted to announce that the spin-out company Cambridge CMOS Sensors Ltd (CCMOSS) has been short-listed in this year's British Engineering Excellence Awards. The company was founded in 2008 by Professor Julian Gardner, leader of the Electrical and Electronic theme at the School of Engineering.
The company, which has been nominated for 'Start-up of the Year', is developing a range of silicon microsensors exploiting SOI CMOS technology.
The winners of this year's awards will be revealed on Thursday 13th October 2011 at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, when some 200 people from the UK's engineering community will gather to recognise the achievements of all shortlisted organisations.
