IBM recognises excellent students

On Tuesday 5 March a number of undergraduate students from the School of Engineering, as well as from the University's Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics and Warwick Business School, attended the annual IBM Student Recognition Awards event at Warwick Arts Centre.

Professors leading departments or modules of special interest to IBM were invited to nominate a small number of high-performing students for this recognition event. The evening was one of celebration, during which representatives from IBM chatted to students over a buffet and enjoyed 'cocktail piano' from Warwick Big Band member Tom Lindsay. Nominated students were awarded IBM certificates of excellence and vouchers for any performance at Warwick Arts Centre.
