Strictly Engineering - Warwick student reaches finals

Strictly Engineering is a unique competition organised by RAEng and BSA, giving selected students the opportunity to present a poster at the 2012 British Science Festival. PhD Student Reza Ghaffari has been selected as a finalist, which means that he will attend a training workshop, receive professional poster design assistance and be able to attend the 3-day festival with all expenses paid.

Reza will present his research on "Plants Disease Detection and Intelligent Systems" at the prestigious event. The public will vote on the finalists posters at the Festival, and the winner and runners-up will receive additional prize money.

Mr Ghaffari is co-supervised by Dr. Iliescu, Prof. Hines and Dr. Leeson. The British Science Festival takes place in Aberdeen from Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th September.
