Bionics Bus Showcases Digital Healthcare Innovation at the Royal Cornwall Show
The Bionics Bus delivered two strong days of hands‑on biomedical engineering outreach at the Royal Cornwall Show before bad weather ended the event early. We engaged hundreds of visitors with EMG, EEG, VR and digital‑health demos, and successfully trialled the Bus’s new off‑grid power system.
Warwick Representation at UKACM 2026 Conference
Warwick was strongly represented at the UKACM 2026 Conference through contributions from Professor Xueyu Geng’s group, highlighting cutting-edge research in computational mechanics. Dr Sijia Liu presented a unified phase-field framework for fracture, contact, and friction, and was awarded the Nina Cameron Graham Prize for Best Presentation by a Post-Doctoral Researcher. Professor Xueyu Geng also delivered a plenary lecture on advanced modelling of fracture in nonlinear materials.
