Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Future Talent Awards
Warwick Engineers were well represented at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Future Talent Awards 2024 which took place at Savoy Place in London during March.
Zahra D’Souza, Y2 MEng Systems Engineering student, and Gagandeep Kapoor, Y2 MEng Mechanical Engineering student, were both recipients of a Launch Scholarship at the prestigious ceremony.
Jody Nwaelene, Y2 MEng Systems Engineering with Intercalated Year student, was invited to deliver a speech and speak about her journey of not placing herself into a box, as a former recipient of the scholarship.
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
The IET provides Launch scholarships for students, degree apprentices and apprentices who have faced financial or personal challenges and have a passion for engineering.
The IET also provide Boost Scholarships for students in their final one or two years of an IET accredited degree or accredited degree apprenticeship, who have achieved 70% and above at the end of their 2nd or 3rd year of university.
