What is the Community of Practice?....

WaDeCoP is an interdisciplinary initiative focused on advancing water education, research, and innovation. It integrates diverse fields such as engineering, science, health, finance, sociology and governance to deliver graduate training and collaborative research. Activities include networking events, industry workshops, and academic visits, aiming to address industry gaps, foster sustainable solutions, and enhance interdisciplinary knowledge sharing. The network aligns with the Institute of Advanced Study's mission by promoting inclusive, international, and impactful research while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Launch of the Community of Practice is supported by IAS. Established in 2007, the IAS fosters interdisciplinary, innovative, and international research collaborations. By hosting international visitors, supporting academics and early career researchers, and funding diverse projects, the IAS enriches Warwick's research environment and promotes the development of new research ideas.
