News: ABSPIE recent initiatives

The ABSPIE Lab's Prof. Pecchia will be moderating a free webinar on the subject of Hospital Disaster Preparedness. With hospitals coming under increasing pressure, this webinar will present some of the challenges that hospitals face during a disaster and how we can increase preparedness to those challenges.

It is not possible to give one definition of “disasters”, because we cannot predict the nature of the next one. However, it is possible to list some recent ones: pandemics, wars, catastrophic natural events, cyberattacks.

In this webinar, speakers will address the importance of Hospital disaster preparedness to increase resiliency of health care delivery and therefore patient safety. An open discussion will follow, moderated by Prof Leandro Pecchia and Dr Yadin David.
