News: ABSPIE recent initiatives
Davide Piaggio to guest edit forthcoming special edition of "Biomedical Signal Processing and Control"
As a result of a collaboration between EAMBES and Elsevier BSPC, "Biomedical Signal Processing and Control" is the official journal of Official Journal of the European Alliance of Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES).
An upcoming special issue will host original contributions describing fruitful biomedical engineering and clinical engineering applications in low and middle income countries (#LMICs). Guest editors will give priority to papers resulting from pragmatic experiences and evidence based contributions. This is wonderful news for the ABSPIE Lab as this special edition will be guest edited by 4 of the most promising scholars in the field including the Lab's Davide Piaggio. His fellow editors will be Sudesh Sivarasu, Philippa Ngaju Makobore and Carmelo De Maria.
