Cheltenham Science Festival Discover Zone 2019 Energy crisis: Nanomaterials for green energy generation 4 - 9 June 2019, Imperial Square, Cheltenham Roughly two thirds of all energy we use is wasted as heat, significantly adding to environmental pressure and resource availability. New generation nanomaterials can efficiently harvest this heat, convert it back to electricity and inject it back into our power supply. Here we presented modules and devices as examples to show how thermoelectric power generation can help solve this energy crisis, to kids and adults alike. |

British Science Festival (Family Day) Energy crisis: Nanomaterials in green energy generation 14 Sept. 2019, University of Warwick, Coventry At this event we presented modules to show how thermoelectric power generation can help solve the current energy crisis, to kids and adults alike. With roughly two thirds of all energy we use wasted as heat, new generation devices and nanomaterials can efficiently harvest this heat, convert it back to electricity and inject it back into our power supply. |
