Research Staff Information

This page is intended to be a collection of useful links for research fellows and assistants. If you have any suggestions or amendments, please email us using the link at the bottom of the page.

The Leadership and Management Development centre has specific resources and courses aimed at research active staff, such as career advice, bid writing skills and entrepreneurship. They also send out a monthly e-newsletter to all research staff with up-to-date information on training and funding calls. These areas are particularly useful to Research Staff:

Research Staff Forum brings together representatives of all departments to discuss key issues facing research staff and to disseminate best practise. The School of Engineering does not currently have a representative on the forum. Please contact Sarah Lewis if you would like to represent the School at the termly meetings.

The Library supports research staff through journal submission advice, access to archives and the Warwick Research Archive Portal (WRAP). WRAP holds information on all papers and chapters published by Warwick Staff. It is a useful reference tool for researchers and also help to disseminate your work further. You can also find information about open access publishing for authors

The Library also includes the Wolfson Research Exchange, a community space for all Warwick researchers.

IT Services provides training on a range of applications. You may find it useful to attend training on Sitebuilder, the University's web publishing tool.

Institute of Advanced Study offers opportunities for funding for aspects such as networks, speculative lunches and public engagement.
