Leap Motion is a new innovation with potential applications in many different fields. We have brought it to the biomedical engineering field in the creation of our 'Virtual Physiotherapist'. Our application developed for Leap Motion displays a hand gesture on screen which the user will have to replicate. The Leap Motion will tack the users hand, and the computer programme will give the user a score depending on their ability to replicate the gesture.

Physiotherapy is a significant and important sector of the biomedical field. We hope our technology can help treat those with arthritic diseases, Parkinsons disease or hand injuries.

The Virtual Physiotherapist is in the latter stages of development and will be completed in the coming weeks.
