CENTA is a consortium of Universities and research institutes that are working together to provide excellence in doctoral research training within the remit of the Natural Environment Research Council.

Funding

CENTA studentships are fully funded by the University of Warwick and the Natural Environment Research Council DTP - NERC CENTA for 3.5 years.

Funding includes:

  • Payment of Tuition Fees
  • Annual stipend, set at £15,609 for academic year 2021/22
  • Research training support grant (RTSG) of £8,000

Eligibility

Students that are eligible for Home level tuition fees are eligible to apply.

  • Home students who have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years can apply for full awards covering tuition fees and annual stipend for living costs.
