Previous open days
There was a MASDOC open day on 9 December 2011 and 14 March 2012. These were intended for final-year undergraduate students who are interested in funded PhD research in the Mathematical Sciences. There were talks from Warwick academics and current students, and an opportunity to interact with a wide range of researchers. There were also presentations from the two other EPSRC "Securing the Future" Centres for Doctoral Training in Mathematics: STOR-i at Lancaster and CCA at Cambridge.
Reasonable travel expenses for participants (for example, UK standard class rail with receipts) were reimbursed. The conference took place in the Zeeman building, which houses both the Mathematics Institute and the Department of Statistics. The programme for the open day can be found below.
Programme
Unless otherwise stated all events take place in Room B1.01, Warwick Mathematics Institute. Some interviews will take place from 11.00 am anyone affected will be notified.
