The aim of this year's IMC Problem Solving seminar will be to select Warwick's team for the 28th International Mathematical Competition (IMC) that will take place 2- 8 August 2021. This will be done based on the two online selection tests that take place 12:00-16:00 (UK time) on 24 and 31 March 2021 (Wednesdays). Note that UK time will be the same as UTC on 24 March and UTC+1:00 on 31 March.

There is no need to register. The test papers (with instructions how to submit them) will be uploaded to this page between 11:30 and 12:00 on the test days. Each test will last 4 hours after which you'll have an extra hour to convert your hand-written notes to pdf files and submit by email to o.pikhurko@warwick.ac.uk (with subject: IMC Test 1). Please make a separate pdf file for each attempted question, naming it ID_Surname_Question.pdf (for example 1234567_Smith_2.pdf).

Due to the pandemic, we won't have any training sessions this year. However, if you'd like some extra practice then we recommend working on your own on past problems (available online with solutions) from the following competitions:

• International Mathematical Competition (IMC)
• Putnam Competition
• Vojtech Jarnik Mathematical Competition
