Flexible working

In line with the University's flexible working policies, after 26 weeks of service employees at WMS are eligible to request flexible working such as reduced hours, seasonal hours/term time only working, staggered hours, job sharing, or compressed hours.

The school supports both formal/informal flexible working arrangements to accommodate staff work- life balance requirements. In our 2019 Athena SWAN survey 66% of respondents reported the need for flexible working, with 55% indicating that they had caring responsibilities.
