Inclusive Education
We are dedicated to fostering Inclusive Education by addressing disparities in access, continuation, and career progression for underrepresented groups, particularly BAME applicants and students. We regularly monitor data-driven actions focussing on enhancing gender and ethnicity balance in conversion to our courses.
With emphasis on career enablement, WMS is committed to increasing the representation of minoritised groups, especially BAME females, in career presentations for all student cohorts. This involves leveraging networks and implementing programs like INSPIRE and THRIVE, aimed at encouraging participation in academic careers and building career confidence among UK ethnic minorities and women. These initiatives demonstrate WMS' commitment to creating an equitable academic environment by addressing systemic barriers to access, achievement, and career advancement for all.
