Ambassadors for Better Research Culture
Who are ABRC?
The ‘Ambassadors for Better Research Culture’ (ABRC) was founded in 2019 by a group of WMS early career researchers, with the single, yet multifaceted aim to improve the research environment for the wellbeing of ourselves and our colleagues. We were recently awarded £10,000 funding from the Enhancing Research Culture Fund 2023/24 to provide activities and training to support researchers and support staff in multiple ways, including setting up a Peer Support Network for Early Career Researchers across Warwick Medical School, the School of Life Sciences, and other Gibbet Hill-based researchers.
We believe that everyone should be able to thrive in the research environment.
Want to get involved? Check our events page for information about our past and upcoming events!
Please contact Catriona (Catriona.Conway@warwick.ac.uk) if you would like to know more about ABRC activities, or become part of the team. We are always open to new members and ideas!
