Health Technology Assessment
Our Health Technology Assessment and secondary research is focussed within Warwick Evidence. One of nine Technology Assessment Review Teams across the UK, the division is developing into a leading centre for secondary research and health technology decision making.
We have considerable Health Technology Assessment expertise within Statistics and Epidemiology and our Clinical Trials Unit. The Warwick Preventive Heart Group is an NIHR-funded programme of Cochrane systematic reviews about preventing heart disease.
Our work centres around evaluation with a strong emphasis on enabling successful adoption and dissemination within the UK and international health economy. Warwick Medical School is a founder member of the West Midlands Academic Health Sciences Network (AHSN).
The Division of Health Sciences which houses our Health Technology Assessment work includes a team of 178 health services researchers. Our researchers range from junior research fellows to senior professors. We now also have 76 Research Degree students registered in the Division of Health Sciences.
