WIFWU - Warwick Infant and Family Wellbeing unit
The Warwick Infant and Family Wellbeing Unit work in the area of mental health and wellbeing by offering support to parents of infants.
Clinical Trials Unit
The Clinical Trials Unit works in the area of mental health and wellbeing through its DAPA trial which looks at whether a programme of exercise and physical activity can improve cognition for people with mild to moderate dementia.
Statistics and Epidemiology
The Statistics and Epidemiology group develop and apply innovative methods for the evaluation of mental health and wellbeing, including the (short) Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale [(S)WEMWBS]. Current projects focus on defining the contribution of (S)WEMWBS vis a vis other measures of mental health, sensitivity to changes attributable to a wide range of different approaches and interventions, validation in different geographical and cultural settings and international comparisons.
