Information for parents approached to take part in the screening pilot
Thank you for considering taking part in this study. On this page you will find information about the survey and interviews for parents and prospective parents who have been approached to take part in the SMA newborn screening pilot.
We would like to interview some of the people who complete this survey about their experiences and views, including people who agreed to take part in the SMA newborn screening pilot, people who decided not to take part and people who are undecided.
Interviews will take between 30 and 40 minutes and will be anonymised. Interviews can be online or by phone.
Eligibility criteria: participants must be over 18 years old, live in the UK, and be able to communicate in English.
