The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement in collaboration with Warwick Medical School, European Workshop on Industrial Computer Systems TC7 and the European Network of Excellence ReSIST invite participation to this joint European Workshop on “Human Factors in Education & Training for Safety: Learning from Industry and Health”.
Aim: The aim of the workshop is to provide a platform for healthcare professionals, experts in patient safety, and human factors and safety engineering experts from other safety-related domains to exchange views and ideas about training needs of stakeholders in patient safety, to discuss how patient safety curriculum development and delivery can benefit from human factors and safety engineering curriculum development experiences in other safety-related industries, and to explore in how far recent experiences gained in the public healthcare sector could feed back lessons for industry.
Registration: Participation is open and free of charge. Participants should come from healthcare professions, patient safety research, human factors and safety engineering disciplines. Registration is by email with a limit of 40 participants.
