Why did you pick MSci Integrated Natural Sciences?
I decided to study this course because I was searching for a subject which would join my love for biology with my interest in all STEM subjects. Integrated science felt like a perfect fit for me and being a brand new degree was an exciting new opportunity to jump into feet first.
Why did you choose Warwick?
As soon as I visited Warwick campus I knew it was the place where I wanted to study, I felt immediately comfortable here and walking around I fell in love with the gorgeous setting. Everyone I met on campus was incredibly friendly and helpful and I just knew that it would be the best way to start in a new place so far away from my home.
How have you found the course so far?
So far the course has been even more amazing than I was expecting. Even despite the pandemic we have safely been able to carry out labs and in person teaching which has not only vastly improved the level of teaching but also how close our group has become.
How have you found the change from college/sixth form to university?
Transitioning from school to university is inevitably a tough experience for everyone, and especially in my case moving further from home, but I truly have been given the best support network with the Integrated Natural Sciences team. With the structure of the course, and so much being in person, I found the transition of school to university work easy.
What have you enjoyed the most about the course so far?
My favourite part of the course so far has definitely been the labs, being able to carry out experiments using the equipment and techniques in the labs is incredibly interesting and being there everyday is unbelievable.
Do you have any advice for people applying for the course?
My only advice for people applying for the course is to get your application in fast!
