Conference for Undergraduate Women and Non-binary Physicists UK and Ireland 2025 (CUWiP+)

In order to process your application and registration for CUWiP+ UK and Ireland 2025 we collect some personal information, including information on your experience and on characteristics protected by law. This statement details the basis for collecting this information, and what we do with it.

The personal information you provide will be used to manage your application and registration for attendance at the CUWiP+ UK and Ireland 2025 Conference (the “Event”). Authorised staff within the University of Warwick will use your personal information for selection of participants, allocation of places and to communicate with you about the Event. This will include your name, email address and home institution to facilitate administration of the Event.

The personal information will also be anonymised for statistical analyses on the demographics of applicants and participants of the Event, the results of which will be provided to the National CUWiP UK & Ireland Steering Committee for the purposes of planning future conferences and to assist with securing further sponsorship. Please note that such results may be published, however, none of your personal information will be published individually or in a manner which can lead to the identification of you.

The legal basis for processing your personal data is performance of a contract with you to facilitate your application and attendance of the event. The University of Warwick is the Data Controller of any information you have entered on this form and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with Data Protection Legislation.
