Prof. RA Roemer appointed as editor of Physica E

Prof. R.A. Roemer has been appointed as new editor for Physica E (Low-dimensional systems and nanostructures). The journal contains papers and invited review articles on the fundamental and applied aspects of physics in low-dimensional systems, including semiconductor heterostructures, mesoscopic systems, quantum wells and superlattices, two-dimensional electron systems, and quantum wires and dots. Topics suitable for publication in this journal include spin related phenomena, optical and transport properties, many-body effects, integer and fractional quantum Hall effects, single electron effects and devices, and other novel phenomena. The appointment also highlights the existing expertise in the field here at Warwick, with experts such as Gavin Bell, Richard Beanland, Nick d'Ambrumenil, Paul Goddard, Tom Hase, David Leadley, Ana Sanchez-Fuentes, Jeremy Sloan and Neil Wilson active in the field. Prof. Roemer's editorship will be for 3 years in the first instance.
