EPSRC Innovation Fellowships - internal selection process

| EPSRC have launched a call for fellowships aligned to the Industrial Strategy. The fellowships are for 3 years and applicants must work collaboratively with industry. The call is targeted at postdoctoral researchers and academics at an early career stage. The University is limited to 6 applications and we will be conducting an internal selection process with details to be circulated soon. The timelines we are working to are very tight so this is just to give you early warning. Proposals must align to the following areas of Industrial strategy: • Robotics and artificial intelligence systems • High Productivity Services through Specialised Artificial Intelligence • Development and manufacture of batteries for the electrification of vehicles • Digital manufacturing • Quantum technologies • Cheap and clean energy technologies • Integrated and sustainable cities - including low energy buildings • New approaches to data science Other areas are also eligible as long as the majority of the research is within EPSRC remit: • space research • advanced sustainable agriculture • leading edge health care technologies |

Submit a 2 page application form (template attached) + 2 page CV to researchstrategydev@warwick.ac.uk using the subject “EPSRC Innovation Fellowship”

Internal Selection Panel meeting – we will inform applicants as soon as possible after this date The panel will be using the same assessment criteria as the EPSRC call. (attached for reference)

17 October - 9 November |
R&IS to support the selected applicants in completing the 4 page outline and costs. |
