Kavli education medal and lecture - Royal Society
The Royal Society invites nominations for the Kavli education medal and lecture. This recognises an individual who has had a significant impact on science, mathematics or computing education. The winner will give a prize lecture or presentation at the Royal Society or other appropriate venue. There are no restrictions on the age of nominees, but it is anticipated that the award will be made to a Recipient with a maximum of 15 years or equivalent post PhD by the closing date of the round. Nominees who have taken a career break will also be considered. They must either be citizens of a Commonwealth country or the Republic of Ireland, or individuals who have been ordinarily resident and working in one such country for at least three years immediately prior to nomination. Self-nominations are not accepted. The award consists of a medal and £1,000.
