Research fellowships for early-career scientists

Export as iCalendar

The Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 invites applications for its research fellowships for early-career scientists. This supports early-career scientists or engineers in conducting a research project of their own instigation in any of the physical or biological sciences, in mathematics, in applied science, or in any branch of engineering, to contribute to the knowledge-base required for a healthy and innovative national culture. They must be in possession of a recent PhD with three years or less of postdoctoral research experience. The fellowship is expected to be held at a UK institution and be carried out at a different institution from the one where the candidate’s PhD research was undertaken. Approximately eight fellowships are available.
