Michael Faraday prize and lecture - Royal Society

The Royal Society invites nominations for the Michael Faraday prize and lecture. This recognises a scientist or engineer whose expertise in communicating scientific ideas in lay terms is exemplary. Topics covered by the public engagement activities can be any science or technical discipline within the remit of the Royal Society. Nominees must be leading scientists, mathematicians or engineers who are citizens of the British Isles or a Commonwealth country, or who have been ordinarily resident and working in the British Isles or a Commonwealth country for a minimum of three years before being nominated. Self-nominations are not accepted. The prize is worth £2,500.
