The Royal Society invites nominations for the Rumford medal. This recognises research in the field of physics. Citizens of a Commonwealth country or the Republic of Ireland, or those who have been resident and working in the Commonwealth or Republic of Ireland for a minimum of three years, may be nominated. Self-nominations are not accepted. The award is worth £2,000.
