Who has supported you on your Physics journey?
On Saturday 5th July we will be gathering to celebrate 60 years of physics at the University of Warwick, and we would like to invite our current staff and students, former staff members and alumni to come along and get involved.
As part of the event, we are inviting our guests to reflect on the people who they are grateful to. This might be someone who inspired you or helped to steer you through something challenging. It could be someone who guided you on to a new path. Or it could just be someone who simply made life more enjoyable by being there. This could be someone with a physics background or not. Whoever you think of and why, we’d like you to nominate the people who have made a difference to you on your physics journey.
The plan is to collate these nominations and present as many as we can in a small exhibition on the concourse as part of the Warwick Physics 60th Birthday celebration. The hope is that this will be a thought-provoking way of engaging people in remembering and in celebrating our achievements (as individuals and as a community) and that it will illustrate how lives intersect and connect.
