Conference Venue, Lodging and Meals


The TO-BE Spring meeting 2016 will be held at the Physics Department, University of Warwick, England



The University is located in the heart of England, adjacent to the city of Coventry - 3 miles (5 kilometres) from the city centre - and on the border with Warwickshire. The Physics Department building can be found on the campus map the meeting will be held on the Physics concourse which is located on the thrid floor of the Physics building.

Your accommodation for your stay will be located in the Arthur Vick block on the University campus, at Warwick Conference park

The rooms generally have:

  • single bed
  • en suite bathroom
  • towels and toiletries
  • free high speed wireless and wired internet connection
  • tea and coffee making facilities
  • hairdryer iron, ironing board and trouser press*
  • Breakfast provided

*In some cases, these might be in the kitchen rather than the room itself.


The accommodation booking is for a single room.
If double rooms are required for those with accompanying persons; they can be booked at an additional charge directly with Warwick conferences, by emailing please quote code:1076900 in the email ( please make sure you still book the day delegate option on the accommodation form)

Bedroom check in/out:

Please report to the conference reception in the Students Union building to check in and collect your keys.

Bedroom keys will be available from 15:00 to 23:00 at Conference Reception. If you plan to arrive after 22.45, please contact Conference Reception to arrange late key collection ( Rooms need to be vacated by 09:30 on your day of departure and all luggage and belongings should be removed by that time. Please inform Conference Reception on arrival, of any difficulties you may have in the unlikely event of an evacuation from your accommodation (e.g. hearing or mobility difficulties).



You will be provided with a key or key card which will access your room and entry door to the residence. Keys can be left at Conference Reception, Rootes Restaurant (in Rootes Building) or one of the boxes situated in the entrance halls of each residence on the day of your departure.


The Conference Park is on the Central Campus of the University of Warwick located on the outskirts of Coventry, which is accessible by road, rail and air. A further link can be found for any relevant traffic information at The Conference Park is the name given to the facilities provided by Warwick Conferences on the Central University campus.




All accommodation bookings include breakfast.

Wednesday 6th of April- Includes accommodation, breakfast, refreshments, lunch and dinner. Lunch and refreshments will be served on the Physics concourse. Dinner will be provided in the Rootes Building on the University campus.

Thursday 7th of April- Includes accommodation, breakfast, refreshments, lunch. Lunch and refreshments will be served on the Physics concourse.

Friday 8th of April- Includes Refreshments and lunch only. Lunch and refreshments will be served on the Physics concourse.
