Annual Research Summaries empty

Principal Investigators are required to submit one or more annual research summaries of up to two page length for inclusion in the facility annual report that reports on research carried out in the facility year that runs from 1st February to 31st January. This/ These is/are to be submitted using the online portal by 7th January (or 7th February if the user was allocated time from December 15th to January 31st). Where a user was allocated time for the same general research project in the two 6-month time-allocation periods that constitute the facility year, a single annual research summary should be submitted. Indeed, noting that there is a 64-page limit for the facility annual report, users are encouraged to combine summaries for related projects where appropriate. While the NMC will endeavour to include as many summaries as possible in the facility annual report, users may be asked to combine summaries if necessary, and it may not be possible to include all submitted annual research summaries. In preparing the annual research summary/ summaries, users are reminded of the target audience for the facility annual report, namely the general academic community and the funding agencies as well as solid-state NMR spectroscopists. Specifically, each annual research summary should emphasise the science that has been enabled by access to the UK 850 MHz solid-state NMR facility and needs to be stand-alone and readable for a general materials science/ chemistry/ life sciences audience. Note that the facility annual report is sent out to Heads of Department of relevant UK science departments and the funding agencies and is freely made available for download from the facility website. Note that the National Management Committee will copy-edit submitted reports, making small changes if required. IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING MORE THAN ONE ANNUAL RESEARCH SUMMARY, PLEASE MAKE SEPARATE ONLINE SUBMISSIONS FOR EACH SEPARATE ONE
