Group Research Technician

I am the Superconductivity and Magnetism Group Research Technician.

I am responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the Group's experimental apparatus.

I am also responsible for the day-to-day management of the Departmental helium liquefier. If you have any requests or questions regarding the provision of liquid helium please contact me.

Biography

I am an Applied Physics graduate and used to work as a technician for a company which produced a range of optical coatings for military and commercial applications including head-up display systems for fighter planes.

I joined the Physics Department in October 2011 as a Research Technician in the Nanosilicon Group and began working in the Superconductivity and Magnetism Group in 2015.
