Research Interests

My research interests for PhD involve THz in vivo skin measurements and THz sensing of microfluidic samples.

My previous works focus on:

  • applying genetic algorithm for data fitting optimization of in vivo skin data measured in THz regime [1];
  • sensitive sensing and characterization of microfluidic samples with THz-TDS [2-5]:

proposed a method of customizing multilayer structure for THz thin-film characterization [2, 3]; discussed the potential variables utilizing compact microfluidic device for THz measurements [4, 5].

Currently I'm working on quantitative evaluation of transdermal drug delivery patches on human skin with in vivo THz-TDS.
