Jessica Mould - PhD student in Physics

I joined the Robertson Group in October 2025; I am currently a first year PhD student. I completed my MSci Physics degree at the University of Nottingham in 2023; my masters project involved researching the optoelectronic properties of functionalised graphene for the application of field effect transistors. Between my MSci and PhD, I spent two years in industry working as an engineer.

For my PhD, I will be researching 2D material memristors by using transmission electron microscopy to build an understanding of the atomic level mechanisms involved in memristive switching.
