Yi Yuan - Postdoctoral researcher in physics

Yi is now working as a postdoc, where her research project focuses on materials processes via in-situ electron microscopy, in particular electrochemical reactions.

Before coming to Warwick, Yi joined Professor Bruce’s group in Oxford in 2020 as a DPhil student under the co-supervision of Dr. Alex Robertson. Her research project focuses on understanding the degradation mechanisms of Li metal anode via in-situ electron microscopy.

Yi attained her MSc in Chemistry from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of Chinese Academy of Science and Beihang University. Her prior research mainly focused on the thermal catalysis based on MOF materials.
