Austin Peach
Obtained my Ph.D. in Chemistry from Florida State University in August 2023. Postdoctoral researcher in Montpellier France from October 2023 until December 2025. I joined the Physics department as a postdoctoral researcher in January 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Steven Brown.
To date my research has been focused on the investigation of pharmaceuticals and carbon capture materials. Blending mechanochemistry, computational chemistry, and solid-state NMR to elevate our understanding of both simple and complex materials answering questions at the atomic-level scale. Currently, I am continuing to integrate these aspects in the physics department at the University of Warwick through the development of solid-state NMR techniques at high magnetic fields (850 MHz and beyond) for application to pharmaceuticals in collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
