Pablo Ramses Alonso Martin

First year PhD student in the Maths and Stats CDT at University of Warwick. In 2022 I graduated from the University of Warwick with an MSc in Statistics. For my Thesis, I worked under the supervision of Dr Rito Dutta in Piece-wise Deterministic Markov Processes (PDMPs) and their application to Bayesian Neural Networks (BNNs), with a particular focus on the novel Boomerang Sampler. Work is currently in progress aiming at the applicability of PDMPs as an alternative to posterior sampling on BNNs.

Prior to that, I obtained a Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oviedo (my hometown in Spain). In between, I have also been working with Imprecise Probabilities under the supervision of Prof. Enrique MirandaLink opens in a new window and Prof. Ignacio MontesLink opens in a new window.
