Your profile page
The WMG profile page gathers information from different sources in the university and displays them.
This page provides a breakdown of the key areas of information , where they are stored and how they can be changed by you.

Your photo
Your WMG profile page retrieves your photo image from Warwick photos.
(It can no longer use the image you have uploaded to your Ideate profile)
Your Warwick photo is stored and used for your Office365 account and your ID card. If you wish to change your Warwick profile photo , click this linkLink opens in a new window and then click the button labelled 'Upload Another' and follow the instructions. Once your new photo is uploaded and has been processed , it will appear on your WMG profile page.
The photo can take up to 24 hours to process and update after uploading.
I've had a photo taken at WMG but I do not have a copy to upload. What should I do?
Marketing and comms should have a copy they can provide to you. Please email wmgmarketing@warwick.ac.uk and request a copy of your most recent photo.
Your name
Your WMG profile page retrieves your name and title from the central membership system at Warwick. This system is administered by central HR.
Your name on your WMG profile page is visible to ANY visitor to your profile page
Your job title
Your WMG profile page retrieves your job title from the central membership system at Warwick. This system is administered by central HR.
Your job title on your WMG profile page is visible to ANY visitor to your profile page
Your email
Your WMG profile page retrieves your email address from the Office365 email service administered by central IT services. Further email help and information is available by clicking this linkLink opens in a new window

Your contact telephone number
Your WMG profile page retrieves your contact number from the central membership system at Warwick. This system is administered by central HR.
Your contact telephone number on your WMG profile page is visible ONLY to logged in users , it is not visible to external website visitors
Your location information
Your WMG profile page retrieves your location information (building and room) from the central membership system at Warwick. This system is administered by central HR.
You can update these details yourself by clicking this linkLink opens in a new window and then clicking edit profile.
If you have not entered any location information into your profile , it will not show on your profile page.
Your location information on your WMG profile page is visible ONLY to logged in users , it is not visible to external website visitors
I don't see any location information on my profile page , how do i make it appear?
If you have not entered building and/or room information into your profile , the WMG profile page will ignore that section and not show it. Update your location info by clicking this linkLink opens in a new window and then clicking edit profile. The two fields to enter information into are 'Building' and 'Room'.
Please allow up to 24 hours for any updates to apply.
Your skills and experience
Your WMG profile page retrieves your skills and experience information from the central membership system at Warwick. This system is administered by central HR.

Your WMG profile page retrieves your homepage link from your Ideate profile. You can edit this information.

Only you have access to edit and update your Ideate profile , it is not accessible by WMG HR or WMG IT.

Your WRAP publications via Ideate
Your WMG profile page retrieves your publications from WRAP (Warwick Research Archive Portal)Link opens in a new window via your Ideate profile.
Your WMG profile page currently displays all of your publications listed in WRAP. Development work is underway to provide more flexible display options (such as omitting certain publications from display)
Recently (2022) , we have had a number of complaints about new 2022 WRAP submissions not appearing on the profile page. Please note this is not a fault of the WMG profile page. RIS (Research Systems) should be contacted if you have submitted publications but not seen them appear in your profile. researchops@warwick.ac.uk
