This course aims to develop professionals who implement technology-enabled solutions to create new products and services and increase productivity using digital technologies.

Please note that whilst the module catalogue shows the latest approved version of each module and what is currently being taught (academic year 2024), there may be minor updates to content or learning objectives year on year, to reflect the evolving state of knowledge and the requirements of teaching best practise. Any such amends will be updated following the department 'module approvals process' and reflected in the module catalogue before the start of the next academic year in 2025.
Teaching and learning
For the first two years, you’ll study the core range of subjects, with pathway specialism in years three and four. Modules are taught in week blocks at the University of Warwick and will be a mix of lectures, practical laboratories, seminars and tutorials. You will also have access to a Virtual Learning Environment for further support between blocks.
Examinations and work-based learning assessments are integrated throughout the year, allowing for continuous assessment rather than end-of-year exams. The final year will involve an individual work-based project and presentation.
Entry requirements
Entry to the programme of study is normally through demonstration of a minimum of 112 tariff points. Applicants must also hold GCSE grades in Maths, English and additional STEM subject at grades C, 4, or above. Disciplines studied post-GCSE must include any Engineering or relevant STEM subjects (Physics recommended). In addition to the required entry tariff applicants must have also achieved an A level in Maths at grade C for all pathways except Data Analytics. For Data Analytics route, A level in Maths grade B expected. Where A-level Maths is not held but holding equivalent Maths subjects, on a case-by-case basis, applicants might be eligible and required to complete a Mathematics bridge course (Mobius). Apprenticeship applicants must hold an offer of employment prior to enrolling on the course. WMG is committed to widening participation.
