Overview
This course aims to develop professionals who will be able to confidently design, build, and test high-quality software solutions. You will apply engineering principles to all stages of the software development process, from requirements, analysis, and design, development and data requirements, whilst ensuring security robustness is built in.
There are four routes to this Degree Apprenticeship, matched to a Degree Apprenticeship Standard:
- Software Engineer
- Data Analyst
- Network Engineer
- Cyber Security Analyst
Accreditations
- Accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional, and on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for a Chartered Engineer.
- Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council, three routes on this programme—Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Network Engineer—partially meet the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer. The Cyber Security Analyst route was not included in the accreditation at this time, as no students were enrolled on this route during the review period.

Open Days at Warwick
