Dr Phil Jemmett, WMG’s Outreach and Widening Participation Coordinator, who took part in a panel discussion at the Summit, explained: “This event has been organised with young people at its core. There has been a group of young producers working on the event through planning and even hosting parts of the day like the panel discussion. It really shows – the audience is more engaged, the content is more relevant, and the activities speak about scientific and technological concepts in a refreshing, people-centred way. “WMG was delighted to be involved with such an empowering event focussed on young people. I left the event feeling really hopeful that the future is being left in the hands of these bright and talented minds.”

“A huge thank you goes to WMG Engineering Technician, Dave Cooper; the WMG Facilities team and, Dean Tranter from BikewrenchLink opens in a new window who supported Warwick students with activities, and everyone who braved the snow to inspire the next generation of engineers.”
