WMG Scholarships for Syrian Students
In WMG, we welcome outstanding candidates from around the world. We encourage diversity of perspective, background, and experience and as such are pleased to offer a range of scholarships to celebrate that diversity.
- For students from Syria we provide an automatic tuition fee discount of £3,500
- WMG Syrian Excellence Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis with awards of £5,000, £10,000, and £15,000
Eligibility criteria for £3,500 automatic tuition fee award
- Students must have an offer to study on one of the WMG full-time MSc courses, starting September 2026.
- Students must be classified as overseas fee payers and be a Syrian National.
- Students should be self-funded or funded through a student loan.
Eligibility criteria for the WMG Syrian Excellence Scholarship - application required
- Applicants must hold an offer to study on one of the WMG full-time MSc courses, starting September 2026.
- Applicants should have an excellent academic track-record and/or strong professional profile in order to qualify for consideration.
- WMG Excellence Scholarships are for self-funded students only. NB: students on scholarship-loan schemes or partially funded by an external organisation may also be considered. Awardees should inform the scholarship committee if they are in receipt of another scholarship or are later awarded other funding.
- Successful awardees from Syria will benefit from both the automatic tuition fee discount and the WMG Excellence Scholarship.

- Applicants should apply within 4 weeks of receiving their offer

- WMG scholarships and awards are for study on Warwick campus-based full-time MSc programmes only.
- WMG scholarships and awards are paid towards tuition fees only and cannot be paid in cash or towards accommodation or maintenance costs.
- WMG scholarships and awards are used across the WMG MSc portfolio to optimise nationality and gender diversity.
- WMG scholarships and awards will be reflected your CAS for visa application purposes.
