Company or organisation websites

Using specific company or organisation websites to search for jobs

If you are interested in working in a specific company or organisation and you know their name or website. You can also go to the company website and search for their career or job sections which usually called careers or jobs or work with us or join the team or something similar.

For example, if I want to look for jobs in childcare/nursery and I want to work with in childcare/nursery and I want to work with Jumo Start nursery in Amman. I would take the following steps:

Step 1: Go to their website. If you do not know what it is then you can search for it on Google and then click the name (in yellow below) or the word website. In this case click the word website (in orange below).

Step 2: Search for the menu (in yellow below).

Step 3: Search for careers or jobs in this case its careers (circled in orange below).

Step 4: Look at where I can apply in this case, you have to fill in the form then click the “Submit Application” black button.

It is important to remember that the job description is what we need to understand what the job is and tailor or customise our CV and Cover letter to suit it (Module 3).

It is important to note that this method of going directly and applying to the company or organisation's own website is the safest way to make sure that the job is a real one, followed by using NGO and development organisation websites.
