Warwick Graduate Conference in the Philosophy of Mind

The call for papers for MindGrad 2010 has now closed. To register to attend the conference, please click here.
Papers are invited from graduate students working in any area within the philosophy of mind, including related topics in metaphysics, epistemology and the philosophy of psychology. Submissions should be:

  • Suitable for presentation in a 30–40 minute time slot (3,000–4,500 words approx.)
  • Prepared for blind review, including a separate cover sheet with title, abstract and contact details

Papers which are accepted for presentation at the conference will receive a response from a member of the Warwick philosophy faculty or visiting academic, plus time for questions and discussion at the conference.

Papers should be e-mailed to mind dot grad at warwick dot ac dot uk in PDF, Microsoft Word or RTF format no later than 14th September 2010.

Travel and Accommodation Costs

Limited funds are available to support graduate speakers whose paper is accepted and would be otherwise unable to attend; please e-mail mind dot grad at warwick dot ac dot uk for further details. Note that the department can only cover travel expenses within the UK. When submitting a paper from outside the UK, please bear in mind that you (or preferably your department) will need to cover your travel expenses to the UK.
