Brass Band Concert: Call of the Cossacks

The award-winning University of Warwick Brass Band present the hugely successful and popular suite Call of the Cossacks by Peter Graham. This piece was commissioned for the world famous Black Dyke Band and features a wide range of Eastern European Folk music, from Gypsy to Klezmer.
The band is also delighted to welcome internationally renowned Euphonium soloist Steven Mead. Steven is well known in the Brass Band world as a solo performer and is the most recorded Euphonium artist in the world. He has been featured guest at all the major brass band festivals including several European Brass Band Championships. He will be performing several solo works with the band including Brillante by Peter Graham and Harlequin by Philip Sparke.
