Warwick International Development Summit

The University of Warwick is hosting the first Warwick International Development Summit on Friday 1 to Sunday 3 December 2006. The event aims to raise awareness of a range of issues associated with development, including the impact of international organisations, the effect upon the environment and the relevance of the public, private and voluntary sectors for developing states. Speakers include the former UN Assistant Secretary General and co-founder of the UN Intellectual History Project, Sir Richard Jolly, and the Rwandan Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Claver Gatete.
