Warwick and King’s College London to establish London-based Centre for Urban Science and Progress

Warwick and King’s College London, in partnership with New York University, plan a major initiative in collaboration with the GLA and the London Borough of Southwark to launch 'CUSP London', a branch of NYU’s Center for Urban Science and Progress, to be based at Canada Water from 2018. The announcement was made on Monday 17 June 2014 by Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, at an event organised by Bloomberg to mark the start of London Technology Week.

New route will help people get on their bike around the University of Warwick

A new walking and cycling route through the University of Warwick that gives students, staff and local people the chance to make more of their everyday journeys without having to rely on a car, was officially opened on Wednesday 11th December by the University of Warwick and charity Sustrans.

One World Week 2013

One World Week is a festival celebrating international culture and diversity that is hosted anually at the University of Warwick. Now in its eighteenth year, One World Week will run from Saturday 26 January to Saturday 2 February 2013. As well as being an entirely student-run event, OWW is a non-profit initiative that aims to stimulate personal development.


Learning Grid Leamington Officially Opened

Learning Grid Leamington was officially opened on Tuesday 8 January 2013, by Professor Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Warwick and Students’ Union President Nick Swain.
