Gibbet Hill Road Closure

Essential work to replace a major gas main along Gibbet Hill Road is due to start on Monday 11 February, subject to final statutory approvals. This work will inevitably cause some difficulties on roads to and from the University so we advise everyone to allow extra time for their journeys.

University friends reunite for 100 mile cycle in support of Emily and Ovarian Cancer Action

Fifteen Warwick University graduates will reunite on 17th and 18th November to cycle 100 miles from London to Leamington Spa to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action in support of their friend Emily McArthur who is currently fighting the disease.

Staff prepare for green-fingered garden makeover at local school

Staff at the University are preparing for a blooming busy day on Friday 2nd March, when 17 members of Research Support Services will be heading to a Warwick primary school to give their sensory garden a makeover.

The green-fingered team will be replanting trees and tidying up the Centenary Garden at St. Mary Immaculate Primary School.

HR Christmas Team Challenge at Hereward College

The University’s HR department took on the role of Santa’s little helpers for the day on Wednesday 20 December when they transformed the reception area at a local college.

Ten members of staff painted and decorated the reception area at Hereward College to create a brighter, more welcoming entrance for visitors.
